read bio »Jay is Managing Partner, Global Head of Industrial. Jay has over 20 years of real estate experience and joined Brookfield in late 2013 from Prologis where he was President, East Region overseeing an operating portfolio of 92 MSF and a development land bank in excess of 30 MSF. Jay previously worked at AMB beginning in 2003 prior to the AMB/Prologis merger in June, 2011. For most of his career Jay has focused on the industrial warehouse space beginning with Cabot Industrial Trust and its successor company Cabot Properties where he was an SVP and held national development duties. He also worked at AEW Capital Management in various roles as VP Portfolio Management and Investments. Jay received a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Western Ontario and a Master of Science Real Estate Development from New York University.

read bio »As Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, Matt Berger oversees IDI Gazeley’s North American assets, which are valued at approximately $2 billion. He is responsible for financial operations, including accounting, treasury and finance functions. He also supervises IDI Gazeley’s North America joint venture portfolio, valued at just under $1 billion and maintains relationships with investors and key stakeholders.
Matt joined IDI Gazeley from Brookfield Renewable Energy Group where he worked as Head of Capital Markets. He played a key role in supporting the long-term growth of the business on a global scale.

Shane is qualified as a Chartered Accountant with the ICAEW in 1994 and is a member of the Association of Corporate Treasurers. Prior to joining Gazeley in March 2014, Shane worked in various finance roles for three FTSE 100 companies. He joined Multiplex in 2004 as the Financial Controller for its UK Construction business, which was later acquired by Brookfield and he has since then held various group reporting roles mainly overseeing Brookfield’s European real estate and infrastructure businesses. Shane worked on Brookfield’s acquisition of Gazeley and is now part of IDI Gazeley.

read bio »As Chief Investment Officer, Bryan oversees IDI Gazeley’s North America Investments group, which provides acquisition, disposition, portfolio and asset management, and research services for IDI Gazeley and its clients.
Prior to his expanded role as Chief Investment Officer, Bryan was directly responsible for dispositions and the management of IDI Gazeley’s North America ownership portfolio, as well as those portfolios jointly owned in ventures with third parties. Since joining IDI Gazeley (formerly IDI) in 1995, he has participated in the sale of more than 55 million square feet of industrial buildings with an aggregate sale price of more than $2.3 billion to both institutional and private equity buyers. During that period, Bryan was also responsible for the capital sourcing and formation of several development and long-term ownership ventures in which the cumulative value exceeded $2.5 billion.

Nick is a member of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) and has fifteen years’ experience in the real estate development and investment market. He is a U.K. graduate majoring in General Practice Surveying & Commercial Property Development and has completed training in several professional courses including a Management & Leadership program at Harvard Business School in Boston. Nick joined Gazeley in 2003 and worked as a Director in the U.K. Team for five years; in 2008 he was seconded to Dubai to establish Gazeley’s profitable UAE business unit. He has also spent several years working with Gazeley’s business in China.

read bio »As Senior Vice President and Head of Operations, Greg oversees all operational aspects IDI Gazeley’s North American activities. The scope of his responsibilities includes asset management, leasing, property management and dispositions. During his tenure with IDI Gazeley, Greg has been the Managing Director of Acquisitions, directing the Investment Management group’s efforts to purchase well-located, high-quality warehouse and distribution facilities for IDI Gazeley’s various funds. Greg evaluated every acquisition opportunity within North America, both on-market and off-market, pursuing IDI Gazeley’s interests in both core and value-add opportunities.
Prior to the formation of Investment Management, Greg handled all investment sales, acquisitions, joint ventures, fund formations, asset management, long term debt and other capital market activities for IDI Gazeley (formerly IDI) in North America.
